It is now mid July and there is still much uncertainty with regard to the return to school for the upcoming academic year.
Educators in schools and districts across the country continue to prepare for all possible scenarios that might be faced while awaiting guidance from health departments and elected officials.
Parents make preparations in anticipation for the options that schools might offer, while making accommodations that meet their working situations, and ensuring that the health of their children and those in the household are prioritized.
Students do their best to understand the ever changing state of the school situation and do their best to stay in communication with their classmates in order to keep the lines of friendship intact.
These are uncertain times in the world of education and there is no crystal ball or fortune telling of what may come in the days and weeks ahead...but, if we work together, if we make decisions together, communicate them clearly, and collaborate, we will get through and come off better than we have ever been.
