HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Thank You.
For all you do,
We Love You.

Happy Mother's Day!

May has arrived and we take time to acknowledge our mothers.
Thank you for all you do, the many hats you all wear.

Nurturing. Caring.
Protecting. Advocating.
Loving. Supporting.

Specially during these tough times we are going through,
with COVID-19, Distance Learning, a future uncertain.
We turn to you for leadership, guidance, and shelter.
To return faith to the dreams of the class of 2020,
as they face a must difficult task ahead.

Thank you to all the mothers and mother figures.
Whose impact in out lives has made a difference.
Created the ever growing person we continue to become.

Thank You!

May 2019

We have made it to May and it is time to look forward to some "Pomp and Circumstance".

The 2018-19 School year is coming to an end and before we know it we'll be heading off to Summer Break, but before we can check out we must make it to the finish, and still ahead lie some of the most challenging days as students wrap up projects and portfolios, complete presentations, and comply with school requirements.
We must be there for our students and see them to the end, to that day when they take the stage and receive the recognition they have earned, for all the work they have put into becoming a graduate of the Class of 2019.

We also wish our mothers, and all mother-figures, a "Happy Mother's Day".  Thank you for all that you have done for us, to support us as we learn and become students, and graduate from High School and go on into adulthood, as educated graduates, prepared and ready.  We thank nurses, appreciate educators, honor Asian Pacific American Heritage.

And we take time to pause and reflect on those who made the ultimate sacrifice by laying down their lives with honor in the service of their country as we remember them on Memorial Day.

May 2017

May, first and foremost, is about Mom.
May is about wishing and celebrating a Happy Mother's Day.
May's main hashtag is, and should be, #HappyMothersDay.

But there are also many more events that are set throughout the month of May:
May 1st (May Day) - #MayDay
May 4th (May the 4th) - #MayTheForceBeWithYou
May 5th (5 de Mayo) - #CincoDeMayo
May 14th (Mother's Day) - #MothersDay
May 20th (Armed Forced Day) - #ArmedForcesDay
May 29th (Memorial Day) - #MemorialDay

May is the last full month of Spring, and as it nears its end, the unofficial Summer Kickoff takes place.

Graduation ceremonies are in the planning and final phase as the Class of 2017 gets ready to take part in the highest honor that can be awarded in education: To Become a Graduate.

The long and arduous journey upon which students, teachers, parents, administrators, and all education supporters, and stakeholders, embarked on way back in late August of 2016 is about to reach is culmination.

MRCR Education would like to say to all involved "Thank You".
"Thank You" for all you have done to make education a success.
"Thank You" for all you continue to do each day.
"Thank You" for all you will continue to do to further education.

May 2016

The 2015-16 school year has reached its last full month.

May is the last full month of school left this year, a journey that began back in September of last year.

Students have been learning in their classrooms from their teachers for almost a whole year.

Soon, it will be time to assess the growth and progress of the education they've received.

On this day, MRCR Education joins those showing their support for all educatiors on #TeacherAppreciationDay.

We would like to thank and recognize teachers each and every day, and today, we show that appreciation by saying: "Thank You Teachers".

As we begin preparations for the Class of 2016 and their graduation, promotion, or other form of advancement, it is worth taking the time to do a school year assessment of education in our learning, studies, and teachings.

MAY 2015

May is for Mother's Day, Memorial Day, and end of school year activities, as it is the last full month of school.

The time we have left in our schools, in our classrooms, now begins to be measured in weeks and final days, as we reflect on what we have done this school year.

Two tweets from Stanford University (@Stanford on Twitter) on the month of April caught my attention.

The first tweet, a story on entrepreneurial skills "The Skills That Make Entrepreneurs Extraordinary" , mentioned the mnemonic OODA developed during the Korean War which stands for Observe, Orient, Decide, and Act.

The second tweet, a story on Intracraneal Electrophysiology "Study Deciphers The Noise In The Human Brain" , mentioned the brain' Default Mode Network, which during Autobiographical Memory Retrival sequentially activates vision centers, critical thinking areas, decision centers, and motion areas in the brain.

The similarities of both the concepts and their sequence of 1st. Visualizing; 2nd. Analyzing; 3rd. Deciding; and 4th. Acting; represent a natural brain process and an entrepreneurial skill that should become an integral part of educative assessment.

This month of May, I invite students, teachers, educators, and parents, to take some time to reflect and self-assess the value of our educational experiences this school year.
