Summer School is quickly coming to a close.

We look at the arrival of July. 

School is only a month away, in August

Expectations were set.

Staffing Issues were overcome.

Students participated and did their best.

Standards were met,

Success was achieved.

As August comes to a close let us reflect on the events that took place.

Beginning with the end of Summer School and Summer educational activities, through the lesson planning for the new school year, new beginnings as staff transitions into other phases and new educators begin in new sites, preparing to welcome students as they come Back To School, and learning of new and updated guidelines with regards to COVID and various interactions.

Educators get ready to start the new school year and students come back, keep in mind that education is still adapting to new norms while addressing damages done to learning over the last two years.

As August comes to a close we look forward to a new school year full of possibilities, growth, and hope.

As March marches on it is time to spring forward and look towards the end of the school year with the class of 22 gearing up towards graduation.  It has been a tough and challenging past two years for them, and they will continue to need our support for years to come, but they have done their best to face and endure the challenge before them.

It is also a time to take pause and rest during Spring Break in order to prepare for the final stretch of the school year, while remaining cautious of COVID variants.

Educators should also develop plans for the Summer break that help students who are at risk of falling behind so they can be better prepared when returning for next school year. 

As always, to all educators, students, and parents, continue doing a great job while supporting each other become better educated.

2015 Summer Education

It is now officially summer!!!

The school year is now in the past and we look forward toward the new year to come.

Many students have succeeded in completing a grade level in school and have been promoted to the next level of education.

Those who may have missed such chance can have the opportunity to complete what may be possible during summer school, while others may further their studies by attending many of the various programs that are available to them.

Parents should continue to encourage their children to continue pursuing education by allowing them to attend and participate in summer school, summer camp, mentoring and tutoring programs where they can explore other areas of knowledge and develop better learning skills.

Teachers and administrators should also take this time during summer to do a self-assessment of the many lessons plans, activities, and other educational needs that may have come up throughout this past school year.  Summer presents a great opportunity to recharge those energy cells where we draw our strength to educate the students who continue to walk into the classrooms of the schools in districts that are committed to the pursuit of higher education for all.

It must also be of great importance to make sure that all those who are directly involved in education: Students, Teachers, Administrators, and Parents, do also all they can to take a break from the continuous educational path in which we are all travelers throughout the summer break so we can return ready to continue as we begin the next school year.
